Day 1 - Manila

You will be greeted at the airport by a TP representative and transferred to your hotel.

In the afternoon, you will be fetched to enjoy the city tour.  Your introduction to Manila starts at the heart of the country's financial and business district called Makati. Cross through Forbes Park, an exclusive residential area housing some of the country’s most affluent. Then visit the American War Memorial the biggest war memorial of the Americans outside of the United States.  Drive along Roxas Boulevard for a brief stop at the Rizal Park.   Proceed northward of the boulevard and discover the old part of Manila called Intramuros, where historical buildings and structures are located and withered by time. Visit Fort Santiago, Manila Cathedral and San Agustin Church, the oldest in the Philippines.

The evening is free at leisure.

Day 2 – Manila – Bataan – Ambon-Ambon Trail

Depart Manila for an hour and ½ drive northward to Bataan. Check in at the resort. After freshening up, you will be brought by the support vehicle to the starting point of the AMBON-AMBON TRAIL Ride. Cycle towards Bgy. Binukawan, the trailhead, about 10kms from the starting point. The trail has some moderate climbs, rocky slippery climbs, fast descents over deep ruts, natural berms, long single tracks, and large roots. Roughly 50% of the trail is covered with trees.  At the peak, enjoy a panoramic view of the vastness of Mt. Mariveles, Mt. Samat and Mt. Natib.  At the end of the trail, packed lunch will be taken at one of the designated areas of the Ambon-Ambon and Limutan Falls. If you wish, take a dip at the cool, soothing water of the lagoon. Cycle back to start point and the support vehicle will take you back to the resort.

Day 3 – Quinauan Point Trail

After an early breakfast prepare for a full day of mountain cycling.

You will be transferred to the Bataan Economic Zone, the start point of this bike trail.  Cycle towards the trailhead at Brgy Balon Anito.  A gradual and winding uphill trail, it’s characterized by ruts, rock gardens, fire roads, single tracks, old guerilla roads, and stretches of forested area.  Ride past ancient acacia and fire trees 10-storey high, rolling hills, the view of the beach, and trails disappearing in wads of cogon, and challenging downhill paths.  Finally, zoom down towards the beach cove and enjoy Quinauan’s cool waters.  Packed lunch will be taken at a designated stop area.   Cycle on to Bagac for another 35kms and end point is back at the resort.

Day 4 -  Mt. Samat Tour

Today you’ll be taken to Mount Samat and tour the Shrine of Valor.  Built in 1966, this shrine serves as a reminder of one of the most violently fought encounter of the Filipinos and Americans against the Japanese Imperial Army in 1942.  Go up atop of the cross and you will have a 360-degree view of the Bataan Peninsula.  A brief city tour follows on the way back to the resort.

Enjoy the afternoon at leisure.  You may opt to go on a different bike trail, should you wish to cycle on.

Day 5 – Bataan - Manila

Today drive back to Manila and you’ll be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.  Trip ends.
